Scotty’s Rugby

Playing with Purpose. Supporting Bereaved Military Families.

Scotty’s Rugby is an invitational rugby community with men’s, women’s and vets teams, united by one purpose: supporting Scotty’s, the military bereavement charity. The team was founded in 2014, every player self-funds their involvement, meaning every donation goes directly to the charity.

Scotty’s was founded in 2010 by Army widow Nikki Scott after her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, was killed in Afghanistan. Originally supporting bereaved military children as Scotty’s Little Soldiers, the charity now supports anyone affected by military-connected bereavement while keeping children at its heart.

Through rugby, we raise vital funds, build lasting friendships and create a community that stands alongside bereaved Forces families.

Together, we’re helping ensure no one faces military bereavement alone.
