All Things Dogs

Hey everyone,

I thought I’d set up this group as a space for everything dogs, training, kit, stories, and community.

I’ll start by introducing us…

I’m Kieron, and the lovely Ursula, my retired patrol dog who also happens to be the face of Hawk K9. Ursula served in the military until she sadly lost her eyes in service, so she retired with me and despite missing two important things (her eyes!), she’s living her best life.

I spent 14 years as a military dog trainer, finishing up as the Senior Trainer for the High Assurance Search Dog capability before being medically discharged due to severe depression. But I decided that wouldn’t be the end of my story. Instead, I launched Hawk K9 a way to reignite my passion for dogs and carry forward the lessons I learned through service.

Everything we design, from our dog training equipment to our apparel, comes from experience: what works, what doesn’t, and what truly lasts.

One of my favorite

parts of Hawk K9 is our trucker caps, each one dedicated to a Military Working Dog whose legacy deserves to be remembered. Our first release, the Freddie Cap, sold out in days, proving how much people care about the stories of these four-legged heroes.

So welcome to the group this is a space for fellow dog lovers, handlers, and supporters to share stories, ask questions, and celebrate the bond between human and dog.
